I was talking with my mom and I decided that I would spend the next year celebrating as many holidays and occurrences as possible. I think there are around 300 holidays a month! My mom and I have always loved all the peculiar holidays and have had many laughs discussing them. I think this year will be a lot of fun but it will also require a lot of dedication, time, and it wont be without costs. I will give you once a week up dates once I get it started (Probably next month) and I will post daily journalings as often as possible. I have a feeling I will be rather busy. I am home schooled which I believe will make this a whole heap easier, but also more challenging. Mom made an agreement with me... For this year I will use this as a lot of my school work. I will be writing reports on many of these days and I will be doing loads of research. I look forward to this coming year and I hope you will enjoy following my blog. "Happy Birthday to You" day

You got a player piano?!@?! Awesome, will it be hard to get the parts it needs?
And I was having stomach growling as I looked at your yummy home made donuts, they made me instantly hungry!
Franks Mom used to have a little thing they called a fry-o-lator, in which she fried up her donuts! They were good and your pictures made me rember that sweet old memory.
And even though YOU don't like milk, for us milk lovers it was delish to think of milk day to go along with the donuts!
I haven't looked at your blog in awhile and I think you have done a lot Johanna!
I am imagining you are thinking of many things we would NEVER have been thinking about if it were not for your efforts here, that has got to be good for our brains especially old brains like mine.

Aunt Joyce, I love reading your comments! The parts we need for the player just need to be repaired, then we have to pay for them...they are the original pieces from the piano, when we bought the piano we knew it would be a while till we had them. Thanks for commenting! Johanna
